This Refund Policy sets forth the terms and conditions under which Stop Drop & Lock, located at 157 South Road, Enfield, CT 06082, provides refunds for payments made through our website stopdroplock.com or in connection with our storage unit rental services. 

By reserving or renting a storage unit, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this Policy. 

1. Reservation Fees 

  • Reservation fees are non-refundable, unless the Company is unable to provide the reserved unit. 

2. Rent Payments 

  • Rent is billed in advance and covers the rental period stated in your agreement. 
  • All rent payments are non-refundable once the rental period has commenced, regardless of whether the storage unit is used for the entire rental period. 
  • Customers may vacate the unit before the end of a paid rental period, but no prorated refunds will be issued unless otherwise required by applicable law. 

3. Security Deposits (if applicable) 

  • If a security deposit is required under your rental agreement, it will be refunded after you vacate the unit, provided: 
  • The unit is returned in clean and undamaged condition. 
  • All locks, keys, and access devices are returned (if applicable). 
  • All outstanding balances, fees, or charges are paid in full.

  • Deductions may be taken for cleaning, repairs, or unpaid balances, and any remaining balance will be refunded within 30 days of move-out. 

4. Overpayments 

  • Any overpayment made in error will be credited to your account or refunded upon request. 

5. Cancellations 

  • Reservations may be canceled prior to the rental start date; however, reservation fees are non-refundable. 
  • If the Company cannot provide a storage unit as reserved, a full refund of the reservation fee and any prepaid rent will be issued. 

6. Processing of Refunds 

  • Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 7–10 business days. 
  • The Company is not responsible for delays caused by banks, credit card processors, or financial institutions. 

7. Non-Refundable Charges 

The following charges are strictly non-refundable: 

  • Reservation fees 
  • Administrative/setup fees 
  • Late fees or penalties 
  • Access card, lock, or key purchase fees
